Who is Chef John?
 Chef John's law enforcement career began in Illinois and continued after his move to Florida. His successful career spanning over 32 years, ended when he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. While recovering from his intense treatment of chemo and radiation, he directed his TV watching to shows which satisfied his natural cooking desires. Upon his retirement in 2003, realizing he could no longer continue in law enforcement, he decided to follow his culinary interests.
He attended the Culinary Business Academy in Atlanta and upon completion of his education, started his own business, Chrisman's Home Cuisine, Inc. Chef John's cooking satisfies those whose palate desires the more flavorful foods, the gourmet client, the health conscious client, and those who remember Momma's home cooking. Chef John says, The greatest reward is looking at the face of a satisfied client.
Chef John is a member of the USPCA, BNI - Victory Lane, and local Chambers of Commerce Seminole, Casselberry and Flagler Counties in Florida.
Chef John resides in Florida with his wife, Rosalie of 23 years, and his mother in law, Mary. They have a blended family of eight children and fourteen grandchildren who love "Grandpa's cooking!"
